Slug Management on Soybean

Slug Management on Soybean

Ron Hammond, Ph.D. Professor (The Ohio State University)

Summary: This presentation will help consultants, growers, and other practitioners in the Midwest, Eastern, and Mid-Atlantic regions manage their slug problems in field crops when using no-till production practices. It will cover basic biology of slugs including life history and how it relates to grower practices, and then discuss an IPM approach to managing the problem. By the end of this presentation, the practitioner should know more about slugs in field crops, and be able to appropriately manage slugs.
